MEDI-CELL BUILDS UPON ITS COAST TO COAST DISTRIBUTION OF HYDROX-C™ SKIN CARE LINE

Ulta 3, Cosmetics Plus, Albertson’s and Medic Drug among the
beauty, drug and grocery chains that have added 1,300 new retail
doors for Hydrox-C therapeutic skin care products

Fort Worth, Texas - Distribution of the Hydrox-C™ brand of therapeutic skin care products from Texas-based Medi-Cell Laboratories has increased by approximately 1,300 new retail outlets. The gain comes from additional national and regional beauty, drug and grocery chains choosing to make the brand, which rapidly is becoming popular because of its high efficacies and low retail price, available to their customers.
Medi-Cell established coast-to-coast distribution of its Hydrox-C skin care products this summer with the addition of Longs Drugs and American Stores (Osco Drug, Sav-On and Jewel Osco stores), which are located primarily in the western half of the United States. Eckerd and other chains provide distribution in the eastern half of the country, and many respected regional chains provide additional national distribution.
Now, Medi-Cell is continuing to build upon its national framework. Albertson’s, which initially carried Hydrox-C products only in its Florida and Texas stores, has now extended distribution nationally throughout its chain, which has added an additional 450+ stores. “The products have been very well received by consumers, which makes Hydrox-C a desirable line in stores’ health and beauty areas,” said David Pollock, vice president of product development and creator of Hydrox-C’s patent-pending formulations.
While drug and grocery chains are the prominent outlets of Hydrox-C products, new to Medi-Cell’s list of retailers are two beauty product chains, Ulta 3 and Cosmetics Plus.
Other new drug and grocery chains now retailing Hydrox-C products include Bradlee’s, Dahl’s Grocery, Edgehill Pharmacies, Fryes Grocery, Fred Meyer, Fruth Pharmacies, Hannaford Grocery, HiSCHOOL Pharmacy, Harmon’s, Frank W. Kerr Co., Maxi-Drug, Medic Drug, Nash Stores, and Ukrops Grocery.
Additionally, Hydrox-C therapeutic skin care products have been accepted by the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) for inclusion in its catalog, which is distributed to more than six million members. Hydrox-C is one of the few skin care brands to be accepted by AARP.
“We have enjoyed a fairly rapid rate of securing distribution, and we anticipate the addition of more national chains in the near future,” said Max Beasley, Medi-Cell’s president.
Medi-Cell Laboratories is headquartered at 5750 Riverside Drive in Fort Worth, Texas, and is recognized within the skin care industry for its breakthrough technology and products. Its team of experts have been instrumental in developing products for some of the industry’s most well known companies, dermatologists and doctors.
